While according to islamic teachings strictly prohibit sex outside marriage, then for a Muslim who wants to have sex then it must be tied to a marriage relationship first. In line with the development of the times and science today. That, one of the administrative requirements in marriage that must be completed is a certificate of health from medicine or puskesmas, a health certificate issued after a health test. But in the implementation of premarital health the author found there are still many couples who ignore it. This study aims to examine the urgency of Premarital Check Up as a pre-wedding requirement. This research uses qualitative research method with a type of field research conducted at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) Cirebon Subdistrict. The results of this study concluded that the implementation of premarital check in KUA Cirebon sub- district has been carried out in accordance with: Joint Instruction of the Director General of Islamic Community Guidance and Hajj Affairs of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Director General of Eradication of infectious diseases and Environmental Health of the Ministry of Health No: 02 of 1989 on Toxoid Immunization (TT) of Brides, and Regulation of the Governor of The Special Region of the Capital city of Jakarta, Pergub Number 185 of 2017 concerning counseling and health examination for brides and grooms. Keywords: marriage; terms; premarital check; KUA Abstrak Masalah seks bebas kian mengkhawatirkan, karena semakin banyak jumlah bayi yang baru dilahirkan lalu dibuang di jalanan. Sedangkan menurut ajaran agama islam dengan tegas melarang seks diluar pernikahan, maka bagi seorang muslim yang hendak berhubungan seksual maka wajib diikat dengan hubungan pernikahan terlebih dahulu. Sejalan dengan perkembangan zaman dan ilmu pengetahuan sekarang ini. Bahwa, salah satu dari persyaratan administrasi dalam perkawinan yang harus dilengkapi adalah surat keterangan sehat dari kedokteran atau puskesmas, surat keterangan kesehatan dikeluarkan setelah dilakukan tes kesehatan. Tetapi dalam pelaksanaan kesehatan pranikah penulis menjumpai masih banyak pasangan yang mengabaikannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang urgensi Premarital Check Up sebagai syarat pra pernikahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian field research (studi lapangan) yang dilakukan di Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) Kecamatan Cirebon. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan pelaksanaan premarital check di KUA
