Araştırmacılar tarafından yazılan çeşitli teorik metinlerde eski Türk edebiyatı, klasik edebiyat, divan şiiri gibi farklı başlıklarla da adlandırılan bu edebî dönem, kendi içerisinde oluşturduğu pratikler itibariyle aynı zamanda büyük bir edebî düzenin de adıdır. Bu edebî düzenin en önemli aktörleri ise şiirleri kaleme alan şairler ve şiirlerin sunulduğu kişiler olan hâmiler/patronlardır. Osmanlı dönemi Türk edebiyatı tarihi, Osmanlı döneminde üretilen edebî metinlerin tarihi olduğu kadar şair ve patronlar arasındaki ilişkilerin de tarihi olarak düşünülmelidir. Osmanlı şiiri üzerine yapılan çalışmalarda her ne kadar şairler ve şiirlerin sunulduğu patronların varlığı zikredilse de ikisi arasındaki patronaj ilişkilerinin nasıl işlediği üzerine yapılan çalışmaların sayısı yok denecek kadar azdır. Bu çalışmada şairlerin şiirlerini ne şekilde patronlara ulaştırdıkları Osmanlı arşivi belgeleri üzerinden ortaya konulmaya çalışılmış, çalışmanın kapsamı ise Tanzimat dönemi ile sınırlı tutulmuştur. Çalışmada şiir sunma pratiklerinin belirli sistem dahilinde işlediği görülmüştür. This literary period, which is also called with different titles such as old Turkish literature, classical literature, divan poetry in various theoretical texts written by researchers, is also the name of a great literary order in terms of the practices it creates within itself. The most important actors of this literary order are the poets who write the poems and the patrons/patrons who are the people to whom the poems are presented. The history of Turkish literature in the Ottoman period should be considered as the history of the literary texts produced during the Ottoman period as well as the history of the relations between poets and patrons. Although the existence of poets and the patrons to whom the poems were presented is mentioned in studies on Ottoman poetry, the number of studies on how the patronage relations between the two worked is almost non-existent. In this study, it was tried to reveal how poets delivered their poems to patrons through Ottoman archive documents, and the scope of the study was limited to the Tanzimat period. In the study, it was seen that poetry presentation practices operated within a certain system.
