Email: indah.yuliani08@gmail.com Abstrak Sejak diumumkan pertama kali ada di Indonesia, kasus COVID-19 meningkat jumlahnya dari waktu ke waktu sehingga memerlukan perhatian. Dalam upaya pencegahan penyebaran dan memutus mata rantai penularan covid-19, masyarakat memiliki peran penting agar tidak menimbulkan sumber penularan baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya masyarakat terhadap pencegahan penyebaran penyakit covid-19. Desain penelitian ini merupakan survei deksriptif yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif serta menggunakan data primer. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat kampung X Kabupaten Bogor yang berjumlah 122 kepala keluarga, sedangkan sampelnya berjumlah 57 kepala keluarga, dengan Teknik purposive sampling yaitu memperhatikan pertimbangan dalam pengambilan sampel. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh bahwa mayoritas masyarakat masih kurang baik dalam upaya pencegahan penyebaran covid-19, meski data perilaku masyarakat sudah terlihat baik (77,2%), namun belum didukung dengan ketersediaan fasilitas cuci tangan (40,4%) dan serangkaian cuci tangan pakai sabun yang baik (50,9%). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka sangat perlu dilakukan Kembali pemberian informasi yang secara terus menerus, agar upaya pencegahan penyebaran penyakit covid-19 bisa terlaksana dan di aplikasikan oleh masyarakat dengan baik. In an effort to prevent the spread and break the chain of transmission of COVID-19, the community has an important role so as not to cause new sources of transmission. This study aims to determine the community's efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The design of this research is a descriptive survey that uses a quantitative approach and uses primary data. The population in this study was the community of Kampung X, Bogor Regency, which amounted to 122 heads of families, while the sample was 57 heads of families, with purposive sampling technique, namely taking into account the considerations in sampling. The results of the analysis show that the majority of people are still not good at preventing the spread of COVID-19, although the data on community behavior already looks good (77.2%), but it has not been supported by the availability of hand washing facilities (40.4%) and a series of hand washing. use good soap (50.9%). Based on these results, it is very necessary to provide continuous information, so that efforts to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 disease can be implemented and applied by the community properly.
