Vehicular Traffic Approaches in Telecommunication Networks: Real Data Analysis and Performance Evaluation J. Allami * H. Ez-Zahraouy † Abstract This paper investigates vehicular traffic approaches in telecommunication net- works using real data analysis and performance evaluation. We analyze the impact of vehicular mobility patterns on network performance, presenting a comprehensive framework for optimizing telecommunication networks in urban environments. The study includes real-world data, diagrams, and performance curves to illustrate the findings. Keywords: Vehicular traffic, telecommunication networks, real data, network per- formance, urban environments 1 Introduction The increasing number of smart vehicles and the demand for seamless connectivity have necessitated efficient telecommunication networks that can manage vehicular traffic. This paper aims to address the challenges and opportunities associated with vehicular traffic in telecommunication networks by utilizing real data for modeling and performance analysis. 2 Vehicular Mobility Models Understanding vehicular mobility is crucial for optimizing telecommunication networks. We use real-world data to model vehicular movements in urban environments. 2.1 Real Data Collection Data was collected from urban traffic sensors over a period of one month. The dataset includes vehicle positions, speeds, and timestamps. * Laboratoire de Matiere Condensee et Sciences Interdisciplinaries (LaMCScl), Department of Physics, Faculty of Sciences, Mohammed V University of Rabat, Morocco , jaouad.allami@gmail.com † Laboratoire de Matiere Condensee et Sciences Interdisciplinaries (LaMCScl), Department of Physics, Faculty of Sciences, Mohammed V University of Rabat, Morocco, ezahamid@fsr.ac.ma 1
