In this sense, this work fits into a theoretical analysis on the content of teaching electromagnetism by addressing issues of its foundation, and not of its methods. As a result, we present an initial synthesis of the essential concepts that structure the classic electromagnetic phenomena, namely: movement, variation, and interaction. We also propose an activity to analyze these concepts, concretizing them in the generation, transmission and use of electrical energy. We highlight as this work’s main conclusions the possibility of dialogue between Davydov's theory and the teaching of Physics to promote theoretical thinking, as well as the outline of a theoretical model.
