The Evaluation of School, Family and Community Relations of Teachers In
Terms of Their Views

Abstract:
School, family and community relations constitutes an important aspect of the School
Management. The main aim of the school is to prepare people to future. The most
effective way can be achieved by establishing among school, family and community.
Organizations, headmaster and teachers play an important role for establishing such
a partnership. The purpose of this research is to reveal the relationship among the
school, family and community according to teachers’ views. For this purpose; a Likert
type questionnaire consisting of 22 questions is used by the researchers. The study
population consists from teachers working in province of Sinop who are selected by
Easy Sampling Method. 517 teachers were participated in the survey. In this study
Screening Model is used . The frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean and One-Way
Analysis of Variance and t test are used for the analysis of the findings. Therefore this
is a quantitative analysis. The research findings were analyzed according to the sub-
problems of the research. According to the findings school teachers view themselves
enough in the context of school, family and community relations. There are not any
significant differences in terms of gender and graduation but there are significant
differences in terms of their provinces and priority for school, family and community
relations. The findings are interpreted and recommendations will be given to
researchers for the subsequent researches.
