Highlights * Effects of the Pazarcik (Kahramanmaras) Earthquake on the Erkenek segment * Surface Rupture Mapping * Deformation distribution along the East Anatolian Fault Zone Aim This study aims to evaluate the surface ruptures related to the 6 February 2023 Pazarcik earthquake on a regional scale. Location The study area is located on the Erkenek and Pazarcik segments of East Anatolian Fault Zone between the Celikhan and Golbasi (Adiyaman) Methods Field survey, surface rupture mapping, kinematic analysis Results The total surface rupture length is 80 km on the Erkenek and Pazarcık segments with the maximum left lateral displacement of 2.90 m and 3.80 m, respectively.
