Abstrak Taksonomi Bloom yang telah direvisi oleh Anderson and Krathwohl bahwa high order thinking skills adalah kemampuan berpikir pada tingkat yang lebih tinggi yang melibatkan kemampuan menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan mencipta. Kemampuan membuat soal berbasis HOTS harus dimiliki oleh Guru SMK dalam konteks kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh data pengetahuan dan implementasi soal berbasis HOTS oleh guru SMK dalam kurikulum merdeka. Metode pelatihan menggunakan in house training. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2023 di aula SMKN 1 Pebayuran, kabupaten Bekasi. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket yang menggunakan google form. Responden pelatihan adalah guru SMK sebanyak 40 orang. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa 89% guru sudah memahami soal berbasis HOTS. Sebanyak 90% guru SMK sudah mengimplementasikan soal dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Sebanyak 92% guru sudah mendapatkan pelatihan cara membuat soal berbasis HOTS. Kemampuan guru dalam pemahaman, implementasi dan pelatihan soal berbasis HOTS dipengaruhi oleh jenis kelamin, usia, pengalaman mengajar dan pelatihan. Guru SMK dapat menggunakan soal berbasis HOTS dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kualitas lulusan sesuai tuntutan kompetensi abad 21.. Abstract Bloom's taxonomy which has been revised by Anderson and Krathwohl that high order thinking skills are the ability to think at a higher level which involves the ability to analyze, evaluate, and create. The ability to create HOTS-based questions must be possessed by vocational school teachers in the context of an independent curriculum. This research aims to obtain data on knowledge and implementation of HOTS-based questions by vocational school teachers in the independent curriculum. The training method used is in house training. The training will be held in August 2023 in the hall of SMKN 1 Pebayuran, Bekasi district. The instrument used was a questionnaire using Google Form. The training respondents were 40 vocational school teachers. The results showed that 89% of teachers had understood HOTS-based questions. As many as 90% of vocational teachers have implemented questions in teaching and learning activities. As many as 92% of teachers have received training on how to create HOTS-based questions. The teacher's ability in understanding, implementing and training HOTS-based questions is influenced by gender, age, teaching experience and training. Vocational school teachers can use HOTS-based questions in learning to improve the quality of graduates according to the demands of 21st century competency.
