Desde sus primeras apariciones en la literatura antigua, que se remontan al periodo postvédico, hasta su sistematización en el periodo clásico por parte de Īśvarakṛṣna en la Sāṃkhyakārikā (finales del siglo IV), prestando especial atención al comentario sánscrito medieval de Vācaspati Miśra titulado Tattvakaumudī (siglo X). Asimismo, se analizan las diferentes interpretaciones de esta tradición de pensamiento realizadas en India y Europa en el periodo 1896-1970 por Jhā, Dasgupta, Frauwallner y Larson. Abstract: e present paper focuses on the reconstruction of the transfer of knowl- edge of sāṃkhya philosophy, from its first manifestation in the post-Vedic period of ancient literature to its systematization in the Sāṃkhyakārikā of Īśvarakṛṣna (late 4th century). Special attention is devoted to the medieval Sanskrit commentary of Vācaspati Miśra titled Tattvakaumudī (10th century). e interpretations of this tradition of thought in India and Europe during the period 1896-1970 by Jhā, Dasgupta, Frau- wallner, and Larson are also analyzed.
