Therefore, the Company needs to maintain employee motivation and performance. This study aims to determine the prevailing system of oil palm harvest fees and the relationship between oil palm harvest fees and employee performance. This study uses a descriptive approach and Pearson product-moment analysis to determine the relationship between premium and performance. The results showed that the harvest premium system that applies is a wholesale system with a stipulation of 120 janjang/HK and a premium value of Rp. 100,-. Based on the factors of work quantity, work quality, and attendance, it shows that the harvest premium has a strong and significant relationship as indicated by the correlation value between the harvest premium and employee performance based on the quantity of work. 0.720. Harvest premium with employee performance based on work quality is 0.598 and the correlation between harvest premium and employee performance based on attendance is 0.605. To achieve company goals, competent human resources are needed in carrying out their responsibilities. In an era of increasingly fierce business competition, employee performance is required to be continuously maintained in order to increase so companies hold various methods which are structured programs to improve employee performance. Companies and employees are two parties that need each other. Companies need employees to achieve their main goals. Conversely, employees need work and income to help meet their needs as living beings, such as the need for shelter, food needs, and other needs that motivate and encourage employees to do something or work. Plantation company PT. Nusaina Manusela Manise Plantation Region II is a plantation company with the commodity of oil palm which began operating in 2008 and is located in Central Maluku Regency, Maluku Province. In the Indonesian economy, palm oil is an important commodity in upholding the economy (Mahendra & Faris, 2021). By 2021 the total area of oil palm in Maluku Province will reach 11,023 (Ministry of Agriculture, 2021). Meanwhile, the 3,128.15 ha of plantation area which is divided into eight afdelings is managed by PT. Nusaina Manusela Manise. The area of one section of oil palm plantations is quite large, namely 200-600 ha because it requires skilled harvesting workers. According to Sunarko (2014), harvesting employees are those who are responsible for harvesting fresh fruit bunches (FFB), transporting the harvest, and collecting loose fruit.
