Tembalang, Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah *Email: ratihsaris@yahoo.com ABSTRAK Sebagai kota resor terbesar di dunia, Las Vegas dipenuhi dengan karya arsitektural yang cukup beragam dan megah, terutama disepanjang Las Vegas Boulevard. Sebagian besar resor dan hotel tersebut selalu dipenuhi dengan wisatawan baik yang hanya untuk berwisata atau untuk urusan bisnis. Menarik untuk dikaji karena keberagaman bangunan yang ada merupakan salah satu daya tarik bagi wisatawan di Las Vegas Boulevard. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tipologi desain arsitektur di salah satu koridor Las Vegas Boulevard. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi untuk melihat tipe bangunan yang ada di Las Vegas. Data yang telah diperoleh dianalisis dengan studi literatur yang berkaitan dengan tipologi arsitektur. Luaran dari penelitian ini berubah kajian secara deskriptif tipe-tipe bangunan di Las Vegas Boulevard. Dengan mempelajari tipologi desain arsitektur akan dapat menjadi referensi desain untuk mendesain karya arsitektur yang menarik untuk sebuah kawasan komersil. Kata kunci: tipologi arsitektur, desain arsitektur, las vegas boulevard ABSTRACT As the largest resort city in the world, Las Vegas is filled with architectural works that are quite diverse and magnificent, especially along Las Vegas Boulevard. Most of these resorts and hotels are always filled with tourists either for sightseeing or for business. Interesting to study because the diversity of existing buildings is one of the attractions for tourists on Las Vegas Boulevard. The study aimed to examine the typology of architectural design in one of the corridors of Las Vegas Boulevard. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation to see the type of building in Las Vegas. The data that has been obtained is analyzed with the study of literature related to architectural typology. The outcome of this study changed the descriptive study of the types of buildings on Las Vegas Boulevard. By studying the typology of architectural design will be able to be a design reference to design interesting architectural works for a commercial area.
