We looked into the main components of the formation in this study. The samples had moderate concentrations of SiO2 and Al2O3, with average values of 87% and 8.7%, respectively, according to the Sandstone geochemical data. and greater amounts of Fe2O3 (3.1%), TiO2 (0.21%), and the element's contents of MnO, K2O, MgO, Na2O, and SO3 were around (0.1%), with P2O5 (0.05%) having the lowest value. Because calcite is used as a cementing agent, the CaO content of these sandstones is approximately 0.8%. Relevant geochemical element plots show that the majority of the sandstones in Abu-Shaybah are Quartz arenite kinds.
