Abstract
The purpose of the study is to examine the effect of elements of attention seeking
as internal focus, conceptualizing and centre of attention and the elements of
narcissism as self-promotion, self-description, self- disclosed behaviour and to
develop the attention seeking scale. The main instrument attention seeking was
applied on 300 males and females from different areas of Pakistan, contained 32
items and its reliability is .97 and the other scale is Hyper sensitive narcissism
scale contained 10 items and its reliability is also .79. The result showed the
significant relationship between attention seeking and narcissism. The females has
higher scores on attention seeking due to narcissism. These results showed that
the females have much tendency of attention seeking behaviour and narcissism
trait in their personality. These findings of the study supports the objective that
more females have higher attention seeking behaviour.

Introduction
Human behaviour is manifested and the prospective ability of individuals
to react towards the situation depends on the mental, physical and social level.
Environmental and genetically influenced factors determined the human
behaviour. Thoughts and feeling may shed light on views and opinions and the
