The study was conducted based on the famous writer Gulrukh Alibayli's work “Our Struggling World”. In the work, the reader gets to know the author more closely, taking an excursion to the childhood and youth years full of bitter and pleasant memories, difficult and unbearable trials of the writer, as well as cognizes the close unity of creative personality and creativity through the portrait essays written in fine lines about intellectual and creative women of Azerbaijan, such as Khanimana Alibayli, Nurida Baghirova, Azada Rustamova.
