145 New evidences for Health, Diseases and Hygiene in the Capsian human groups- Tunisia. Nabiha Aouadi, Fatma Touj, Rached Jaballi (1) Abstract Human bones and teeth from archaeological sites are almost the only sources of informations concerning paleopathology within ancient populations. The issues are quite higher within prehistoric human groups because human remains are scarce in the Reserve Collections, and barely present on the field, and also often not well preserved. Recent investigations (2019-2021) in the Kasserine area (Central Tunisia) have yielded very interesting human skeletons from new Capsian rammadiyet. They prove different kind of paleopathology on cranial and post-cranial remains. Oral hygiene and degenerative diseases from Capsian groups will be discussed in this work. Dietary habits (food stress), and hygiene practices and lifestyles will be highlighted. Keywords: Human remains, Paleopathology, Capsian, Kasserine, Central-west Tunisia.
