S’analitza la bibliografia més important sobre el tema, així com la gran diversitat de propostes de nomenclatura exis- tent, que de segur en dificulta el seu estudi. La gran variabilitat d’accessoris destinats a la càrrega i estabilització de la ceràmica documen- tada al jaciment de Les Hortes de Cal Pons (Pontons, Alt Penedès, Barcelona) obliga a presentar una sistematització tipològica pròpia se- guint criteris bàsicament morfològics. S’intenta, a la vegada, que aquesta proposta tingui una fàcil correspondència amb la resta de classi- ficacions conegudes. L’anàlisi d’aquests elements ha de permetre conèixer millor el comportament dels ceramistes en el treballs de càrrega i descàrrega dels forns, el mètode d’apilament de les peces ceràmiques i alguns dels gestos perduts del seu treball. ABSTRACT This paper presents a very complete sample of auxiliary kiln pieces for the Iberian culture of the northeastern peninsula, particularly for the ancient Cessetania. The most important bibliography on this subject is analyzed, as well as the great diversity of existing nomenclature pro- posals, which certainly complicates its study. The significant variability of accessories used for the loading and stabilization of ceramics, as documented at the Hortes de Cal Pons site (Pontons, Alt Penedès, Barcelona), forces the authors to present their own typological systemati- zation, primarily following morphological criteria. Simultaneously, is attempted to ensure that this proposal easily corresponds with the rest of the known classifications. The analysis of these elements should enable a better understanding of the ceramists’ behavior when loading and unloading the kilns, the method of stacking the ceramic pieces, and some of the lost gestures of their work.
