ANALYSIS This study examines the la- bor market situation and impact of third-country na- tionals working in Hungary, with particular attention to the manufacturing sector. Methodologically, the study is based on specially re- quested statistical data and interviews with experts with diverse backgrounds. Migrant workers from third countries face numerous challenges, such as indebt- edness, strict regulations, and workplace vulnerabili- ties. Meanwhile, the mate- rial struggles of Hungarian workers increase distrust towards foreign laborers.
