Holding an archive exhibition is an innovation from Universitas Indonesia in disseminating information that saved in its archives. The displayed archives certainly have historical and educational valuable organizational memory, so that the contents of the archive worth distributed to the academics to know more about the university where they study. This study is descriptive research that discusses the innovation of Universitas Indonesia Archive Office in disseminating information contained in the archives under its management in the exhibition area of Universitas Indonesia Library in commemorating the national archive day. The purpose of this research is to describe archive information dissemination of the Universitas Indonesia through archive exhibition activities that aimed the Universitas Indonesia’s academics. With qualitative approach, this research uses case study method involving archivist who handles the exhibition and also the academics, which is the participant as well as the viewer of the works in the form of archives shown at the exhibition. Case study method is used to consider the context of the problem of information dissemination on the university’s archives at the exhibition which is shown to the public by the data collection techniques of literature review and in-depth interview. The results of this study found that information dissemination of archive collections on display can increase the interest of people to get to know more about their organization, can also be seen how archivists have an important role in designing and executing the exhibition so that the presentation can be adapted to the current state of the exhibition targets. Main conclusions can be drawn is, the information dissemination done through the exhibition is one of the best ways to disseminate the information contained in the archives in order to be utilized and appreciated by the people, especially the members of the institution itself who should know more about their organization. This research is intended for researchers or readers who have an interest in the field of information dissemination through exhibitions, especially in the field of university archives. Suggestions generated from this research can be input for universities in Indonesia in improving the usefulness of their archives. 487
