ABSTRACT
This study employed a quantitative research design to examine the level of employability among TESDA
NC II scholarship grantees, specifically those from the College of Human Ecology. The research aimed
to quantify various factors influencing employability, such as skills, qualifications, and employment
outcomes post-graduation. The tool used in the data gathering procedure was a self-made survey
questionnaire using the Likert scale. The subjects of this study were NC II scholarship grantees and
graduates. Descriptive statistics will be used to summarize the respondents' demographic
characteristics and employability factors. This will provide an overview of the sample's key
characteristics, as well as their survey results. Furthermore, the data was collected using a survey
questionnaire where 100 participants were gathered. Moreover, the result shows the level of
employability among TESDA NC II scholarship grantees and graduates. The study reveals that the
employability of TESDA NC II scholarship grantees from the College of Human Ecology is influenced by
skills qualifications, demographics, and post-graduation employment outcomes. This emphasizes the
need for training programs to align with industry demands to better prepare graduates for the
workforce. It also highlights the necessity of support mechanisms to address skill gaps and enhance
graduates' integration into the labor market.

Educational institutions measure the effectiveness
and quality of their programs through
employment success. Particularly those offering
technical and vocational education programs like
TESDA. This research aimed to assess the
employability of TESDA NC II scholarship

Tourism plays an important role in the Philippine
economy. Based on Philippine Statistics Authority
data, the contribution of tourism to the country’s
gross domestic product grew from 11.7 percent in
2018 to 12.7 percent in 2019. Such a field is
dynamic, requiring competent and skilled
professionals compete in such a market (World
Tourism Organization, 2023). The research will
also determine the different perceptions and
significance of studying employability of the
TESDA NC II scholarship and its effectiveness on
the recipients. According to psychologist David
Kolb, experiential learning theory is about
learning by doing. The learning process, whereby
knowledge is created through experience. With
this, the academic paradise of the south, Central
Mindanao University, provides NC Il courses that
meet industry standards nationwide—producing
skilled professionals who can provide a quality
workforce.
Furthermore, this study aims to offer important
insights regarding how effectively NC II programs
contribute to the region's economic growth by
looking 2 at the employment rate, job placement,
and career development and understanding how
scholarship opportunities like TESDA influence
accessibility and outcomes of vocational
education, particularly in state universities like
Central Mindanao University—providing
insightful information for policymakers,
