Berdasarkan wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan seorang guru, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sertifikasi guru berkontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik, manajerial, dan sosial guru, serta meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan profesionalisme guru, tetapi juga berdampak pada peningkatan keterlibatan siswa dan hasil belajar yang lebih optimal. Namun, untuk mencapai hasil yang maksimal, program sertifikasi perlu diiringi dengan pembinaan, supervisi, dan pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, sertifikasi guru harus dilihat sebagai bagian dari proses transformasi profesional yang berkelanjutan guna meningkatkan mutu pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Kata kunci: sertifikasi guru, mutu pendidikan, kompetensi pedagogik, pengembangan profesional, peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran, supervisi, pembinaan berkelanjutan. Abstract This study aims to analyze the impact of the teacher certification program on improving the quality of education at UPT SMAN 5 Makassar. Based on interviews with the principal and a teacher, the results of the study indicate that teacher certification contributes positively to improving the pedagogical, managerial, and social competence of teachers, as well as improving the quality of learning in the classroom. This program not only improves teacher professionalism, but also has an impact on increasing student engagement and more optimal learning outcomes. However, to achieve maximum results, the certification program needs to be accompanied by coaching, supervision, and ongoing professional development. Therefore, teacher certification must be seen as part of a continuous professional transformation process to improve the overall quality of education.
