This program is intended to empower the traditional herbal artisans located in Wonolopo, Mijen Sub-district, Semarang City which is designated as Wisatadan Village and Kampung Tematik Jamu by Semarang City Government. In the outline of the implementation of KKN-PPM this goes through the stages of preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The number of students participating in KKN-PPM was selected as many as 30 people, coming from various courses in accordance with the areas of expertise required in the field. Similarly, the field supervisor (DPL) is selected from the lecturers in accordance with the relevant areas of expertise. The implementation time of KKN-PPM in the field for three months, which in technical implementation coordinate with Development Center KKN LP2M unnes. This KKN-PPM activity was deployed in two stages. The first stage of 15 students has been deployed from 3 August to 20 September 2017, and the second phase has been deployed on 21 October 2017. Some of the outputs or activities that have been implemented are: 1) Improvement of production aspect, by providing empon-empon mill machine, 2) Development of packaging design (there are 9 types of herbs) so that more interesting, 3) Increase hygiene and health, by bringing resources from the Health Office as well as to get P-IRT, 4) Expansion of product marketing by introducing to various circles, 5) Registration of Jamu "Sumber Husodo" brand to DG of Kemenkumhan RI, 6) Making of Guest Book and Profile of Jamu Crafters in Wonolopo, 7) Land Requirement to Semarang City Government of 3,000 m2 for educational tour of Wonolopo herbal kampong, 8) Conducting cooperation and study initiation appeal to modern herbal medicine industry PT. Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata Pembelajaran dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (KKN-PPM) ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan perajin jamu tradisional yang berlokasi di Wonolopo, Kecamatan Mijen, Kota Semarang yang ditetapkan sebagai Desa Wisata dan Kampung Tematik Jamu oleh pemerintah Kota Semarang. Secara garis besar pelaksanaan KKN-PPM ini melalaui tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Jumlah mahasiswa peserta KKN- PPM dipilih sebanyak 30 orang, berasal dari berbagai program studi yang sesuai dengan bidang keahlian yang dibutuhkan di lapangan. Demikian pula dosen pembimbing lapangan (DPL) dipilih dari dosen yang sesuai dengan bidang keahlian yang relevan. Waktu pelaksanaan KKN-PPM di lapangan selama tiga bulan, yang dalam teknis pelaksanaannya berkoordinasi dengan Pusat Pengembangan KKN LP2M unnes. Kegiatan KKN-PPM ini diterjunkan dua tahap.
