Value Proposition and Challenges of Web Based AI-Art Generators Mehzabul Hoque Nahid , Mohammad Nur Newaz Oyon , Khandakar Tahurul Islam , Un Nafi Iltimas , and Mohammad Baijed Abstract The objective of this research is to conduct a comprehensive analysis and synthesis of how AI-powered technologies contribute to the creation of value in the digital content generation sector, specifically from an artistic standpoint. Addition- ally, the study aims to identify the advantages and obstacles related to the utilization of these technologies. In order to accomplish the research goals, the study used a qualitative and interpretative research methodology. This included a systematic liter- ature review (SLR) and conducting semi-structured interviews with 11 specialists in the area of digital art. The review identified a total of 72 research publications, which were subsequently reduced down to 35 via a rigorous inclusion-exclusion procedure. The approach of thematic analysis has been used for the study. Expert interview data and filtered articles for the literature review were analyzed using MAXQDA soft- ware. The study identified six industrial domains in which AI-powered art-generating systems provide value: content development, education, ethical discourse, market- ing, mechanism of operation, and media. A total of 19 distinct value proposition items were discovered from both SLR and the interview data. Although AI shows tremendous potential, the research identified one potential risk factor, four distinct disadvantages and proposed 6 strategies to overcome those challenges. This study makes a novel contribution by identifying the essential factors for investigating and exploring the diffusion of AI in commercial art. M. H. Nahid (B) · M. N. N. Oyon · K. T. Islam · U. N.
