Tembalang Semarang, 50275, Indonesia *e-mail: hiarifalikhan@mail.unnes.ac.id Abstract Fire brigade personnel (Damkar) are required to have a physical fitness level above average, to support performance in the field and minimize injuries. The endurance of the core muscles is one aspect of physical fitness that is crucial for firefighting professionals. The goal of the study was to evaluate how well the core stability (PLCS) training program increased the endurance of the core muscles in the firefighter population. Quasi experimentation in research: Design for one group's pre- and post-tests. Purposive sampling is the method that is employed. The core stability (PLCS) training program consists of full plank, alternate side plank, and single leg bridge given as many as 30 training sessions with an intensity of 65% to 85% of the maximum heart rate, five times per week, progressive overload training principles, plank test research instruments. The study resulted in an increase in core muscle endurance showing an increase in the average test value of 149.5 seconds, a calculated t value of -4.699, and a 2- tailed significance of 0.002 < 0.05. This study's finding is that the core stability training program (PLCS) can increase core muscle endurance in firefighting personnel. Keywords: physical exercise, fitness, components of physical condition Abstrak Personel pemadam kebakaran (Damkar) harus memiliki level kebugaran jasmani di atas rata-rata, untuk menunjang performa di lapangan serta meminimalisir terjadinya cedera. Sebagai personel pemadam kebakaran salah satu komponen kebugaran jasmani yang penting adalah daya tahan core muscle. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas program latihan core stability (PLCS) terhadap peningkatan daya tahan core muscle pada personel damkar. Metode penelitian Quasi Experimental: One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. Purposive sampling digunakan untuk sebagai teknik penarikan sampling. Program latihan core stability (PLCS) terdiri dari full plank, side plank alternate, dan single leg bridge diberikan sebanyak 30 sesi latihan, yang dilakukan 5 kali dalam 1 minggu, dengan intensitas 65% s.d 85% dari Denyut Nadi Maksimal, dengan prinsip latihannya progressive overload, dan menggunakan plank test sebagai instrumen penelitian. Penelitian menghasilkan peningkatan daya tahan core muscle menunjukkan kenaikan rata-rata nilai tes 149,5 detik, nilai t hitung -4,699, dan signifikansi 2-tailed 0,002 < 0,05.
