Partimos para ello del análisis de las estrategias desplegadas por una muestra de trece linajes sobre los que contamos con información para varias generaciones y que, por tanto, pueden ser observados desde una perspectiva de larga duración y proyectar luz sobre una historia todavía en proceso de construcción. ALLIANCES WITH FOREIGN LINEAGES, PRESTIGE AND POWER IN THE VALENCIAN NOBILITY (1556-1748) ABSTRACT Within the framework of studies on the integration of the territorial elites of the Monarchy, we are interested in these pages in the repercussions of the matrimonial alliances of the titled middle nobility residing in the kingdom of Valencia with foreign houses. To do so, we start by analysing the strategies deployed by a sample of thirteen lineages for which we have information for several generations, and which can therefore be observed from a long-term perspective and shed light on a history that is still in the process of construction.
