In this research, a lighting control system is proposed on basis of wireless sensor networks named LACS (Lighting Automatic Control System). This system with the ability of explaining the users' activities, in addition to providing the needed lighting which provides the satisfaction of users, will provide energy saving and management. In this paper the particles of LACS, their way of relationship, and decision making algorithm are discussed. Meanwhile algorithm prevents waste of energy by reduction of relation with sensors at the time of decision making. The possibility of collecting information for offering various reports, and the possibility of regulating the accuracy level of the system are other facilities of the proposed system. Finally there is a real scenario offered on the proposed system and system assessment according to the production level of lighting intensity and the level of system accuracy is done. INTRODUCTION Wireless sensor networks have various utilizations such as wildfire monitoring [5], habitat monitoring [7], and navigation [8] [9]. In today's life, considering the expansion of social activities, available lighting recourses are always necessary to be available for humans on every hour of day and night. Considering the limitations of energy production and its high production costs, it is necessary to make our best efforts for optimum operation of electricity energy. In this paper lighting control system based on wireless sensor networks named LACS (Lighting Automatic Control System) is proposed. This system includes software on a PC which has the management of the system. LCU (Local Control Unit) is the relationship between the sensors and the manager of the system. LCU surveys different events and perform the appropriate act. Sensors are also placed in this workplane. Figure 1 shows a sample of system utilization. References [2, 3, 4, 6, 13] has studied the utilization of wireless sensor networks for energy saving and lighting intensity control. Reference [3] has solely used wireless sensor systems for lighting control for media utilizations such as theater environment. This paper explains some of the users' needs and on the other hand has considered the dependencies costs. The objective is minimizing the overall cost by regulating the lighting intensity. References [2, 4] has used wireless sensor network with decreasing energy consumption in commercial places. Lighting apparatus are only regulated based on day light. References [6, 13] have used wireless sensor networks for lighting control with users' activity determination in internal environments. The explained scenario in this is based on dividing an environment without obstacles between lights and the user. Each user should also carry one sensor with him. System uses two models for studying the amount of customer's satisfaction and energy consumption. In [13] their model is designed for “point-link” light source, such LEDs. In [12] it is tried to design an illuminance distribution for each user which is satisfactory for him.just the design of lighting intensity is accompanied by learning ability of sensory scale of users. In fact it is not a dynamic system which changes by the changes of lighting sources (internal and external reccourses) and in general it did not offer an exhaustive system. In [1] proposed a design for automatic room light detection and control. the Home Light Control Module which will be installed in every light fixture of a family. This system used just home or small office. The place of Sensors is not on workplane, them beside of lights. In any room used one sensor. The lighting intensity accuracy amount of decision making algorithm of different systems is as an important parameter for studying the system accuracy and the amount of energy saving. In [10], if the difference between present lighting intensity with objective lighting intensity is ± 50 lux, system will be updated otherwise nothing is done (a=± 50).
