It is also a key element of sustainable living. The important of water is proved with that the human body is consists 80% of water which makes the daily water needs for human beings is definitely important. Same happen in earth. Earth also consist around 71 % of water, unfortunately the qualities of water is getting poor nowadays because many environmental decline. By developing industry for example, the quality decline of water certainly will impact to decrease the water quantities. These both of situation seem quite ironically as in one side human is badly depending on water, but in another side, the qualities and quantities water is get lower by human themselves. This environmental issue, especially water was realized by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) with start to become first pioneer for Green & Sustainability Campus in Malaysia. Although located in water-rich country, UKM is fully committed to save environment and manage environment aspect, one example of important effort is by saving water. The usage of water in UKM is categorized to be in high level. UKM have around 20.000 students and most of them are dwelling in campus. For big campus like this, UKM have one center of Mosque that accommodates some daily worship of Moslem as the majority communities. For activities like ablution, washing and bathing, UKM Mosque produce quite big amount of grey water. Grey water is residual water that still fresh and can be recycled for some purposes such as landscape irrigation and cleaning service. One alternative method to treats the grey water is by the usage of filter wells. With proper treatment in UKM Mosque, UKM will get big impact to save water and its environment.
