Later structures overlying the remains of a “Residence” (renamed the Main Building this year), were removed, uncovering a paved courtyard and further rooms belonging to the same building. Hoarded bronze objects were recovered from one of its rooms, indicating there may have been a foundry there. Two concentrations of previously discovered Khabur ware-period burials (cist and chamber graves) were explored, some yielding rich collections of varied grave goods, including pottery vessels, personal ornaments and bronze weaponry. Keywords: Syrian Jazirah, post-Akkadian period, Khabur Ware period, cist grave, chamber grave
