Sommart 1* บทคัดยอ: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงคเพื่อศึกษาสมรรถนะการผลิตของโคพื้นเมืองไทยที่ไดรับหญารูซี่แหง หรือฟางขาวเปน แหลงอาหารหยาบหลัก ใชโคพื้นเมืองไทย เพศผูตอน อายุ 3 ป น้ําหนักเริ่มตนเฉลี่ย 318±29.6 กิโลกรัม จํานวน 12 ตัว วาง แผนการทดลองแบบสุมบล็อกสมบูรณ กําหนดใหน้ําหนักตัวเปนบล็อก จํานวน 4 ซ้ํา ทําการสุมสัตวใหไดรับอาหารสัดสวนผสม 70% ของอาหารขน และ 30% ของอาหารหยาบ (หญารูซี่แหง หรือฟางขาว) เปนปจจัยอาหารทดลอง 3 แบบ คือ T1) หญารูซี่แหง เปนอาหารหยาบหลัก ใหกินแบบเต็มที่ T2) ฟางขาวเปนอาหารหยาบหลัก ใหกินแบบเต็มที่ และ T3) ฟางขาวเปนอาหารหยาบ หลัก ใหกินแบบขั้นบันได มีระยะเวลาใหอาหารทดลองนาน 126 วัน หลังสิ้นสุดงานทดลองไดชําแหละเพื่อประเมินคุณภาพซาก และคุณภาพเนื้อ ผลการทดลองพบวา อัตราการเจริญเติบโตเฉลี่ยตอวัน ปริมาณการกินได คุณภาพซาก คุณภาพเนื้อ และ ปริมาณ CLA ในเนื้อ ระหวางปจจัยทดลองไมมีความแตกตางกันทางสถิติ (P >0.05) คําสําคัญ: โคพื้นเมืองไทย อาหาร สมรรถนะการผลิต หญารูซี่ ฟางขาว Abstract: The objective of this study was to investigate performance of Thai Native beef cattle fed Ruzi grass or rice straw base diet. Twelve steers with age of 3 years and initial weight 318 ±29.6 kg were fed mixed 70% of concentrate with 30% of roughage (Ruzi straw or rice straw) as the dietary treatment in a randomize complete block design (RCBD) as follow; T1) Ruzi grass fed base diet, ad libitum, T2) rice straw fed base diet, ad libitum and T3) rice straw fed base diet, stair step feeding. Feeding experiment was conducted for 126 days. At the end of experiment, the cattle was slaughtered to determine carcass quality and meat quality. The result showed that average daily gain, feed intake, carcass quality, meat quality and CLA in meat were not different among treatments (P>0.05).
