One major step is to connect all Universities through video conferencing setup for distance learning. Through this facility students will have opportunity to learn from highly skilled teachers of various Universities, contribute and share their ideas. The interactive and real time audio visual discussions of teacher with students will become a reality. The implementation of video conferencing system at various universities may facilitate limited students and teachers, due to the limitations such as specific place and specific equipments. Thus, it may only provide benefits to very limited number of students and teachers. Therefore it is important to analyze that how these setups can be more accessible, usable and scalable by using cost effective technologies for large population. The purpose of this paper is to provide and propose an architecture that enhances the facility of sharing and participation of wider scaled population with these sophisticated setups. Teaching and learning are no longer limited to conventional classrooms [1]. The Electronic learning ( e- learning) systems supports academic activities without the limitation of time and space [2]. In its broadest classification, the e-learning can be defined as the most recent evolution of distance education. The e-learning sources comprises of all electronic media, including the Internet, intranets, extranets, satellite broadcasts, audio/video tape, interactive TV, Digital Video Disks (DVD)and CD-ROM to deliver instructions. [3]. In another way key element in e-learning is the appropriate and efficient deployment and utilization of computer/communication networking technologies to design and make a modern technology based system to deliver and facilitate learning, anytime and anywhere. The e-learning is defined as the most recent evolution of distance learning that creates, fosters, delivers, and facilitates learning, anytime and anyplace, with the use of recent and interactive network technologies[4]. Electronic learning (e-learning), referring to learning via the Internet has become a major trend in recent years [5]. Educational institutes and corporations are investing significant amounts of money and spending time in developing online alternatives to traditional types of education and training systems [6]. Electronic learning, where instruction can be provided from a single host site to multiple distant sites, is possible by taking advantage of synchronous/asynchronous computer-based interactions, local, wide and global computer June Issue Page 38 of 78 ISSN 2229 5208
