Aleix EIXEA a y Valentín VILLAVERDE a Materiales líticos del Paleolítico medio y superior del yacimiento de supericie de Els Bancals de Pere Jordi (la Vall de Gallinera, Alicante) RESUMEN: Se estudian los materiales líticos paleolíticos procedentes del paraje de Els Bancals de Pere Jordi (la Vall de Gallinera, Alicante). El objetivo es dar a conocer el yacimiento y valorar su interés en el contexto regional. El estudio tecno-tipológico permite establecer la existencia de, al menos, dos periodos industriales: el Paleolítico medio y el superior, con una cierta diversidad de los sistema de talla empleados en el primero. La presencia de material retocado apunta a un asentamiento con importantes actividades de talla. PALABRAS CLAVE: Tecnología lítica, Paleolítico medio, Paleolítico superior, poblamiento. Middle and Upper Paleolithic materials from Bancals de Pere Jordi open air archaeological site (Vall de Gallinera, Alicante) ABSTRACT: We approach lithic materials from Bancals de Pere Jordi (Vall de Gallinera, Alicante). The objective is to know the site and considerer its interest in the regional context. The techno-typological study allow us to establish the existence of two industrial periods: Upper and Middle Paleolithic. In the speciic case of Middle Paleolithic we can observe some variability on knapping techniques and the existence of retouched materials that refers to a settlement with important knapping activities.
