Emphasis is placed on the implications of personal network and social contracts in relation to e-recruitment and e-training in Mexico. The Mexican business dynamic is presented in order to set the contextual analysis to this study. Empirical evidence from three firms in the service industrial sector is provided to explore the relation and implication of national context to the e-HR strategy. We identify directions for future studies in this perspective and implications for practitioners.
