The goals of the research were to investigate the demographic features of the Teleuts, the patterns of language use, language attitude with regard to the Teleut language and mother tongue loyalty in the Teleut community. The research results based on the data collected from interviews, observations ans questionnaires. Yazarlar Teleütlerin özellikle demografik durumu, dil yetkinliği, dilsel tutumu ve ana dillerine bağlılığı gibi konular üzerinde durmuştur. Veriler 10-25 Temmuz 2012 tarihleri arasında yazarların Rusya Federasyonu Kemerovo vilayetinde yaşayan Teleütleri ziyaretinde gözlem, mülakat ve anket yöntemleriyle toplanmış ve değerlendirilmiştir.
