To realize the dream of the children who excel, in addition to required education of good quality, must also consider the need for adequate nutrition. The adequacy of a child's nutritional needs can be seen from the menu and consumption patterns of children daily. In the field of nutritional science and health, children can be grouped into: Children kindergarten (4-6 years), School Children (7-12 years), and Youth (13-18 years). Objective: analyze the relationship between education and knowledge of women with a low consumption of energy and protein kindergartner Nurul Bahri Wukir Sari Village District Batang Batang. Methods: This research is explanatory research and the study was cross sectional approach. The population in this study are all children enrolled as a pupil TK Nurul Bahri Wukir Sari Village District Batang, Batang, as many as 38 children. The sample is children who are registered as Nurul Bahri kindergarten students who meet the criteria: not being sick which can affect food consumption, Mrs. available for interviews to provide the necessary data. Samples taken from the total population that meets the inclusion of 20 children and the respondent is a mother of a kindergartner. Results: Showed that: the level of education mostly mothers (85%) were SD, the mother has nutritional knowledge was (70%), average energy consumption of 1282.25 ± 136.05 kcal, the majority of kindergarten children (40%) mild deficit in the category level, the average protein intake was 34.16 g ± 3.78, kindergarten children (40%) in the category of energy consumption level of a mild deficit, most kindergarten children (45%) in the category of normal levels of protein consumption. Conclusion:There was no relationship between the educational level of energy and protein consumption kindergartner, there is a correlation between nutrition knowledge of mothers with children kindergarten level energy consumption, and there is no relationship between nutrition knowledge of mothers with children kindergarten level of protein consumption.
