Introduction
Dryinidae (Hymenoptera: Chrysidoidea) are parasitoids and
often also predators of leafhoppers and planthoppers (Hemiptera)
(Guglielmino and Olmi, 1997, 2006, 2007). They are a large family
of Chrysidoidea, which lists 13 subfamilies, 47 genera and 1689
species worldwide and seven subfamilies, 19 genera and 366 species
in Oriental region (Olmi, 2011; Xu et al., 2013).
The species of Cambodia are little known. There are only two records
present in the literature: Gonatopus medius Olmi, 1984 from Kampong
Speu Province (Olmi, 1984) and Dryinus stantoni Ashmead, 1904, from
Koh Kong Province (Xu et al., 2013).
In recent years, one of the authors (S. Lee) had a chance to collect a
large sample from Cambodia with Malaise traps. The dryinid species
collected by him were studied afterwards and identified. The results
of this research are presented below.
The material studied in the present paper is deposited at Insect Mu-
seum, College of Agriculture and Life Science, Seoul National University
(SNUM). All specimens from Cambodia were collected by Malaise traps.
The terminology used in the key presented in this paper is that of Olmi
(1984, 1999). Abbreviation for a key is as follows: OPL, distance from
the posterior edge of lateral ocellus to the occipital carina.
To support the identifications of the species, all primary and
secondary types of the Oriental Dryinidae were examined.
