He graduated from University of War- saw in literary studies and applied social sciences. He has published articles and book chapters on sociology of literature, media use in everyday life and empirical approaches to literary response. He currently works on a Ph.D. dissertation dedi- cated to the role of a writer in the contemporary new media environment, covering such issues as literary communication, new forms of literary output and collective writing (and reading) online.
