More specifically, the paper focuses on curriculum issues related to enhancing the interpersonal dimension of language service provision, while it also illustrates the ‘technology’ of communication pervading verbal dexterity and communicative competence in the entrepreneurial environment. In particular, the interaction between cognitive and metacognitive processes is analyzed, in an attempt to present innovative ideas, procedures and techniques that can help implement principles and strategies for effective communication. The overall aim is to delineate the techniques of expression and communication for special, professional purposes from the aspect of the instructor of prospective presenters-as-performers, with a view to linking professional language studies to the exigencies of specific business roles.
