149 Özet Bu makalede Michel Foucault’nun düşüncesinde doğruluk ve öznenin disipline ve denetime dayalı oluşumu ele alınmaktadır. Foucault, disiplin toplumunun ortaya çı- kışını modernlik deneyiminin biricikliği olarak görür. Bu aynı zamanda Foucault’nun aydınlanmacı ve hümanist anlayışların bilgi, doğruluk ve özneye ilişkin varsayımları- nı temelden reddettiği bağlamı oluşturur. Bilgi ve iktidarın birbirinden ayrışmazlığını savunan Foucault aynı zamanda doğruluk ve öznenin disiplinsel iktidar mekanizmaları içinde üretilişine odaklanır. Arkeolojik ve soybilimsel araştırmalarıyla, disiplinsel bilgi ve modern kültürün keyiliğini ve üzerinde konumlandığı kaygan zeminini deşifre etmeye girişir. Ondokuzuncu yüzyıldan itibaren insan ve toplum bilimlerinin gelişmesiyle egemen olan bu iktidarın en temel niteliği baskıya değil üretici boyun eğmeye, özneleşmeye ve çoğaltmaya dayanmasıdır. Bu durum iktidarın liberal ve demokratik işleyişindeki tertip ve tuzakları, sinsiliği ve yarattığı yanılsamaları kapsar. Anahtar Kelimeler: Michel Foucault, İktidar, Doğruluk, Hümanizm, Özne Power/Knowledge Spiral: Disciplinary Truth and Subject in Michel Foucault Abstract This article is interested in the disciplinary constitution of truth and subject in Michel Foucault’s thought. Foucault sees the emergence of disciplinary society as the uniqeness of the experience of modernity. This is also the context in which Foucault fundamentally rejects enlightenmental and humanist conceptions of knowledge, truth and subject. Defending the inseparability of knowledge and truth, Foucault focuses on the production of truth and subject within the disciplinary mechanisms of power. Through archeological and genealogical studies, he tries to decipher the arbitrariness of the disciplinary knowledge and modern culture and the slippy ground they are based on. The main character of this power, which have been prevailing since the development of human and social sciences in the nineteenth century, is not based on oppression but on productive surveillance, subjectiication and multiplication. This situation includes the traps and dispositives, insidiousness and illusions in the liberal and democratic operation of power.
