Thus the objective of this paper is to analysis the paddy production in Bihar through input output analysis along with well known Cobb-Douglas production function. This paper has to try to justify the backwardness of paddy cultivation in Bihar. Keywords: Input-output analysis, Cobb Douglas production function, Energy use in agriculture.
