Dr. Gökhan Demircioğlu KTÜ, Fatih Eğitim Fakültesi, OFMAE Bölümü Trabzon demircig73@hotmail.com Dr. Mustafa Yadigaroğlu KTÜ, Fatih Eğitim Fakültesi, OFMAE Bölümü Trabzon mustafayadigaroglu@hotmail.com Özet FATİH Projesi, eğitimde fırsat eşitliği sağlamak, okulların teknolojik altyapılarını daha ileri seviyeye getirmek ve derslerde bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinin (BİT) kullanımı yaygınlaştırmak amacı ile 2010-2011 eğitim öğretim yılında pilot olarak uygulanmaya başlanan ve 2013-2014 eğitim öğretim yılı sonuna kadar tüm okullarda uygulanması planlanan bir projedir. Projenin belirlenen hedeflerine ulaşmasında öğretmenlere çok önemli görevler düşmektedir. Bundan dolayı FATİH projesinin uygulayıcıları olacak öğretmenlerin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi önemli bir konudur. Buradan hareketle, bu çalışmada kimya öğretmenlerinin FATİH projesine yönelik düşünceleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında Trabzon ilinde görev yapan 6 kimya öğretmeni ile yarı yapılandırılmış mülakatlar yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanmış 6 sorudan oluşan bir görüşme formu oluşturulmuştur. Geliştirilen form, kimya eğitimi alanında uzman 3 akademisyen tarafından incelenmiş ve soruların araştırmanın amacına uygun ve yeterli olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Mülakatlarda öğretmenler, okullarda alt yapı sorunlarının devam ettiğini, sınıflara kurulan akıllı tahtaların öğretmenlere ve öğrencilere fayda sağladığını belirtmişlerdir. Öğretmenler ayrıca, EBA ve MEB Vitamin içeriklerinin zenginleştirilmesi gibi önerilerde bulunmuşlardır. FATİH Projesinin belirlenen amacına ulaşabilmesi için okullardaki alt yapı sorunun hızlı bir şekilde iyileştirilmesi ve öğretmenlerin BİT’i sınıf içerisinde etkili biçimde kullanmalarını sağlamaya yönelik hizmet içi eğitim kurslarının düzenlenmesi gerekmektedir. VIEWS OF CHEMISTRY TEACHERS ABOUT THE FATIH PROJECT Abstract The FATIH Project was started to be applied as a pilot in the 2010-2011 academic year of education and is planned to be carried out in all schools until the end of 2013-2014 academic year in order to provide equality of opportunity in education, develop the technological infrastructure of schools and improve the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in classes. Teachers have great responsibilities to achieve the purposes of the project. Therefore, it is important to determine the opinions of teachers who are practitioners of the Project. Thus, in this study, it is aimed to determine the views of chemistry teachers on the FATIH Project. Within the context of the study, semi-structured interviews were carried out with 6 teachers working in Trabzon. An interview form consisting of 6 questions is prepared by the researchers. The developed form is controlled by three academic experts in the field of chemistry education, and it is decided that the questions are suitable and sufficient for the purpose of the research. In the interviews, the teachers have stated that schools still have infrastructure problems and the smart boards in the classrooms are beneficial for teachers and students in several ways. Teachers have also made recommendations such as enriching the content of EBA and MEB VITAMIN. In order to achieve the aims of FATIH Project, it is essential that the infrastructure problems of schools should be solved quickly and the teachers should be given in-service-training about an effective use of ICT in classrooms.
