Observando la Relación de los Pueblos del Nahuel Huapi con su Paisaje Acuático a partir del Estudio de Canoas Monóxilas A View of the Relationship among the People from Nahuel Huapi and their Aquatic Landscape on the Basis of Dug-Out Canoes Research Romina Braicovich * Resumen El presente trabajo expone brevemente parte de la in- vestigación llevada a cabo a partir del relevamiento de un grupo de canoas monóxilas -embarcaciones excavadas a partir de un solo tronco- halladas en el Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi, ubicado al SO de la provincia del Neuquén y al NO de Río Negro, Argenti- na, formando límite con Chile. El estudio de las mis- mas partió desde la idea de entender que la vida de los habitantes de estas latitudes se encuentra, desde tiem- pos muy remotos, estrechamente vinculada al paisaje acuático que lo rodea. Abstract The present paper briefly exposes part of the investigation taken place from the survey of a group of dug-out canoes –ships made of a piece of wood- found in Nahuel Huapi National Park, Provinces of Neuquén and Río Negro, Argentina. The study of these canoes started from the idea of understanding that the life of this latitude inhabitants is, since remote times, tightly bonded to the aquatic landscape that surrounds it.
