Quebec kommt dabei eine besondere Rolle in der Entstehung eines frankophonen cyber- espace zu. Der Beitrag zeichnet die historischen und politischen Entwicklungslinien nach, die Quebecer Identität im Netz darzustellen, und analysiert die Funktion Quebecs als Impulsgeber für die Frankophonie. Am Beispiel der Blogosphäre und der web-séries wird weiterhin diese Vermittlerrolle Quebecs in der culture numérique francophone herausgearbeitet. Abstract Since the 1990s, the internet has been a challenge for Francophone cultures – both on the cultural as well as on the political level. In their efforts to represent the French lan- guage and cultures on the web and to revitalize an international Francophonie, Québec has always played an essential role. In this paper, I will analyze the special political initi- atives of this Canadian province, which significantly inspired other French speaking countries as well as the institutions of the Francophonie. This article demonstrates the function of Québec as a passeur cyberculturel within the Francophone community by using examples of the blogosphere and the phenomenon of web-series. Résumé Depuis ses débuts, Internet n’a cessé de constituer un défi à la fois culturel et poli- tique pour les cultures francophones. Le Québec a joué un rôle primordial dans cet effort pour représenter sur la toile la langue française et son héritage culturel et ainsi raviver la Francophonie internationale. Dans cette article, nous tracerons les grandes lignes de la politique d’Internet du Québec dans sa représentation identitaire sur la toile, laquelle a fortement inspiré d’autres pays et institutions de la Francophonie. Ce rôle de «passeur cyberculturel» du Québec sera illustré à partir de l’exemple de la blo- gosphère et du phénomène des web-séries.
