Una mirada más atenta a la distribución espacial de tales edificios nos permite, además, ver cómo estas familias privilegiadas se relacionaban con su entorno, siempre teniendo presente el carácter militar que Ciudad Rodrigo tuvo durante la Edad Moderna y especialmente en el siglo XVIII. Abstract: The study of the houses of provincial nobility can offer us an interesting view of their social position, especially through the analysis of the internal structure of their homes. With a more attentive sight of those buildings, we can also perceive how this privileged families managed the relationships with their environment, never forgetting the military role that Ciudad Rodrigo had along the Early Modern Age, especially in the XVIII Century.
