The quality of education has the important role and it is one of the main goals of any country and government. With the utilization of new teaching and learning methods new forms of learning emerged, varying from computer based learning, blended learning, online learning, web-based learning, e-learning etc. The virtual learning environment has been created using Moodle software platform and has been applied in Faculty of Techniques and Technology of Yambol, University of St. Zagora. The web-based course of Chemistry has been developed and applied during 2011-2012 year. The paper represents the results from the statistical analysis on some questions of conducted inquiry, using Likert classification, into acceptance and assessment of the web-based course of Chemistry and the e-learning test system from the students. Key words: Web-based learning, e-learning, Likert classification, blended learning. 1. INTRODUCTION E-learning can equally engage the three distinct learning styles of auditory learners, visual learners, and kinesthetic learners. Many studies try to identify the main reasons that made the e-learning preferable. One of the reasons, mentioned from the researchers, is standardization of learning e-learning allows creating a standardized process and consistency in the delivery of content [9, 10, and 4]. With e-learning, everyone gets the same content, presented in the same way. All users, regardless of the time and place in which they are trained, have access to quality content [4]. The e-learning process workflow and the market needs and trends and indicate the best path for achieving a global standard for e- learning activities [9]. Next reasons are: easy updating of the e-learning content, immediacy, and interactivity. The e-learning course can be easily modified in a short amount of time, also once the course is developed and place in a distribution platform (LMS) it will be available immediately [4]. One reason for to improved effectiveness of e-learning seems to be the interactivity of well designed e-learning programmes. Users are not passive; they are part of online forums, chats, wikis and workshops. This leads to higher levels of cognitive engagement and therefore higher levels of retention [4]. It is proven that e-learning improved retention (continuance) The combination of multimedia and instructional design can produce a very rich learning experience that is repeatable [7, 10]. Multimedia resources available to reinforce the learning process; there is a better understanding when looks on the images; can work on their own pace go back, review content and go over the exercises again [4]. E-learning gave two very important opportunities to the users to personalized learning and freedom to fail. Asynchronous e-learning, posted on the Internet, allows incredibly efficient distribution to an almost infinite pool of participants. Through the asynchrony e-learning courses are offered anywhere, anytime, and without need of tutor to be available throughout the entire process [10, 4]. The self-pacing allowed by asynchronous e-learning allows
