Thus, spectactors as one of the most important components should receive special attention. The objective of the present study is to examine the extrinsic motivational factors affecting attraction of spectactors to Taekwondo tournaments (International Fajr Cup) in 2012. Given that the number of spectactors attending each match (population) was unknown, Cochrane method was used to determine the sample size. Accordingly, 652 subjects were selected. The tool used to collect data includes a research-made questionnaire with 11 items relating to demographic data and 16 five-choice questions. The content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by experts. A reliability of 0.751 was calculated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Demographic data and data on community-orientation, community pride, family, marketing, culture and friends was gathered. Mean values and frequency distribution were used to analyze descriptive data. In the case of inferential statistics, single- sample t test, single-factor ANOVA, fitness tests, DEMATEL method and structural equation modeling were used to examine the linear relationships between direct and indirect variables. The results showed that extrinsic factors had an significant impact on attracting spectactors. Marketing and friends had the highest impact on attracting spectactors, while community-orientation and family were less effective in attracting spectactors. Given the impact of marketing and friends, it is possible to propose a solution. More spectactors can be attracted to tournaments through developing an applied strategic plan by planners and those involved in sports, proper implementation of marketing initiatives, efforts to improve promotional programs, understanding the needs of various peoples, motivating spectactors, providing facilities to match sites and training athletes and coaches to provide a fair and beautiful tournament. Nowadays, the executive form and content of sport programs has fundamentally changed as a reflection of social demand. In this regard, spectactors as one of the most important human resources should receive special attention. Modern and organized programs should be implemented by clubs and sports organizations to attract and maintain spectactors (Ajdari et al, 2011). Undoubtedly, human resources is the core of a community. If human resources have sufficient motivation, they will apply their talent to realize objectives. Exploring the issue of motivation will answer questions on human behavior. Why some people are active while others are lazy? Motivation is one of the most important factors raised in communities. Various theories have been proposed regarding the impact of motivation on individual performance. According to all proposed theories, individuals try to achieve success through receiving suitable incentives (Van, 1998). Sport is one of the factors leading to specific behavior and motivations in people. It causes the attendance of people in different sport activities or participating in tournaments as a spectator. Thus, it is important to study behavior of spectactors (Lee, 2000). It is of great importance to understand spectactors’ motivation. Spectactors financially and spiritually support a team through extensive attendance. Sport is a social institution which transfers values and norms to participants and thus helps to coordinate community (Kazemi, et al, 2008). Understanding motivation and factors forming human behavior has occupied researcher's mind so that the views Extrinsic Motivational Factors Affecting Attraction of Spectactors to Taekwondo Tournaments Using DEMATEL Method (Case Study: International Fajr Cup) Fatemeh Mirdar Mansoor Panahi 1 , Dr. Ali.
