I graduated in Economics at the Catholic University in Lisbon (1987). Afterwards I made a Master Thesis in Economics and Social Policy about the economic and sociologic theories on training (1994) and a PhD Thesis in Economics on the European Social Fund (2001). Both Thesis were made at the High Institute for Economy and Management in Lisbon. Currently I teach Social Policy at the High Institute for Social Service in Beja. My main research interests are Social Policy and Human Resources. Other topics that also interest me are the European Union Economics, and the Foreign Aid Economics.
