Conclusion and future research Abstract: Public realm in our cities consists of all places that do not have restricted public access: areas that are public in use even if they happen to be on a private property. It is a main component of aŶLJ ĐitLJ ŵorphologLJ that defiŶes people’s satisfaĐtioŶ ǁith the oǀerall urďaŶ ĐoŶtedžt. IŶ plaĐes where the public realm is only expected to facilitate urban functions; the city become boring and unfriendly. Egypt after January 25 th , 2011 revolution is rediscovering its public realm, that is yet to be classified and designed as a city amenity.
