Among these, pomegranate is one of more common symbols that it has been manifested in Iranian art. If we consider this symbol and its components, according to viewpoint of traditional symbolism, we find it as an inexhaustible fountain of different orders of interpretations like unity, plurality, royalty, fertility, luxuriance, life-giving blood, purifying the soul, the symbolism of heart and sun, tree of sun, love and satisfaction.
