Time and again the success of educational reforms has been found to be decisively dependent on the will-to-go change as much as the quality of teachers. It has become a universal accepted value that the teachers are hardly born but. they are prepared. Therefore the grooming strategies to develop the innovativeness within the pupil teachers should be based upon the emerging pedagogical issues. Special stress will have to lie on the four icons of leaning- Learning to learn, learning to be, Learning to do & Learning to become. Situation bound training modules & application based pedagogical models should be included in the curriculum. Critical analysis of the current scenario indicates some emerging areas to be tackled by teacher education institutions. One of them is preparing teachers to teach in many diverse situations, decentralized conditions &complex human understanding &reaction towards change development. Because our time is definitely requiring a community of teachers who through their innovation & dedication can bring drastic change in the thinking process, attitudes, perceptions & beliefs of millions of people living in rural areas & scattered geographical conditions.
