Esse artigo apresenta a caracterização geoambiental do Geocomplexo dos Sertões do Seridó Potiguar. A área faz parte de um dos quatro núcleos de desertificação mais graves do Brasil e apresenta grandes diferenças fisiográficas quando comparada às áreas adjacentes. This paper presents the environmental characterization of the Seridó Potiguar Geocomplex. The area is part of one of the four cores of more serious desertification of Brazil and physiographic features large differences when compared to adjacent areas.
