Topluluğun dağılması H(seyin Cahit ǻYalçınǼȂin derginin śśř. sayısında yayımladığı Edebiyat ve Hukuk başlıklı terc(me makalesinin jurnal edilip derginin padişah tarafından geçici olarak kapatılmasıyla olmuştur. Makalede hiç yer almayan ve kastedilmeyen d(ş(nceler SarayȂa bildirilmiş, padişah II. “bd(lhamit de derginin kapatılarak sorumluların s(rg(ne gönderilmesini istemiştir. Fakat sorgulamalar neticesinde jurnalin asılsız olduğu anlaşılarak derginin yayın hayatına devam etmesi ve sorgulananların ceza almaması kararlaştırılmıştır. Fakat bu, topluluğun dağılmasını engelleyememiştir. Yazıda bu makalenin yayımlanması, derginin kapatılması, sorgulama ve derginin tekrar faaliyete geçmesi aşamaları ayrıntılarıyla ve dönemin tanıklarının anlatımlarıyla verilmiş, makalenin asıl metni ve g(n(m(z T(rkçesine aktarımı da eklenmiştir. The dissolving of the society was led by Sultan's decision to suspend the journal temporarily after the denouncement of H(seyin Cahit ǻYalçınǼ's translation article which was published in the 553th issue of the journal. The Palace was misinformed about journal's ideology which was misinterpreted in the journal, and consequently Abdul Hamid II wanted the journal to be suspended and those who were responsible to be exiled. However, after a detailed investigation process, the informant's claims turned out to be false, and it was decided that the journal should continue publishing and the suspects' charges were dropped. Nevertheless, coming clean did not hinder the dissolution of the society. In this paper, publication of H(seyin Cahit's article, suspension of the journal, the interrogation and journal's reopening process will be presented in detail with the help of anecdotes of witnesses of the era. In addition, the original article and its translation into contemporary Turkish will be provided in the appendix section.
